On October 29 (local time on October 28), NVIDIA (NVDA.O) unveiled a strategic partnership with Uber (UBER.N). Under this collaboration, both companies will harness NVIDIA's cutting-edge technologies, including its next-generation self-driving taxis, autonomous delivery fleets, the DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 autonomous driving development platform, and the DRIVE AV software tailored for L4 autonomous driving. Their joint goal is to expand the world's largest L4 autonomous driving mobility network. NVIDIA will provide support to Uber in incrementally growing its global autonomous driving fleet, with an ambitious plan to scale it up to 100,000 vehicles by 2027. Moreover, the two entities are working together to establish a data factory, powered by NVIDIA's Cosmos World Foundation Model Development Platform, to systematically organize and process the vast amounts of data essential for the advancement of autonomous vehicle technology.
