On October 29, 2025, NVIDIA made a significant announcement, revealing strategic partnerships with Stellantis, Lucid Group, and Mercedes-Benz. The objective of these partnerships is to collaboratively develop Level 4 (L4) autonomous passenger vehicles, leveraging the cutting-edge DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 platform. In a parallel move, NVIDIA also forged a partnership with Uber. Together, they aim to co-develop a state-of-the-art data factory, utilizing NVIDIA's COSMOS world foundation model development platform. This initiative is set to accelerate the global deployment of robotaxi fleets, with an ambitious target of reaching 100,000 units. The rollout is scheduled to commence in 2027.
