On the morning of October 29th, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, unveiled at the GTC Conference that NVIDIA and Uber have forged a strategic partnership. Their shared goal is to collaboratively expand the global L4 autonomous driving mobility network. This partnership will harness the power of NVIDIA's autonomous driving platform, namely the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10, along with the NVIDIA DRIVE AV software tailored specifically for L4 autonomous driving. Additionally, it will utilize the NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation model development platform. The overarching objective is to expedite the expansion of Uber's autonomous driving ecosystem, with a strategic plan to commence the large-scale deployment of a global fleet comprising 100,000 autonomous vehicles by 2027.
