On October 27, Japan's eight leading automakers unveiled their global sales figures for the first half of the 2025 fiscal year (spanning from April to September). Owing to factors such as the U.S. government's imposition of steep tariffs, four automakers, including Nissan Motor and Mazda, saw their sales in the U.S. market dip below the levels recorded during the same period last year. Nevertheless, the combined global sales of these eight companies stayed relatively steady, amounting to 11,997,580 units.
