On October 28, Changan Automobile unveiled a purchase tax subsidy program encompassing all its brands. Under this initiative, customers who finalize their orders through the official online platforms of respective brands before midnight on November 30, 2025, and whose vehicles, with confirmed specifications, are invoiced and delivered in 2026 due to factors beyond their control—such as production and transportation delays attributable to Changan Automobile—will be eligible for a cash subsidy from the automaker. This subsidy will cover the disparity in purchase tax between the 2025 and 2026 rates. The subsidy amount will be calculated based on the actual difference in purchase tax corresponding to the vehicle configuration chosen by the customer.
