On October 23, amid the grand proceedings of the 32nd Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAECCE 2025) and the Automotive Innovation Technology Exhibition (AITX), the much-anticipated announcement of the AITX Hot Innovation Technology Award winners was made.

This event zeroes in on the pivotal technological breakthroughs achieved by participating enterprises. It meticulously evaluates them through four crucial dimensions: innovation, which gauges the novelty and uniqueness of the technology; practicality, assessing how effectively the technology can be applied in real-world scenarios; industrialization potential, looking at the feasibility of scaling up production and integrating the technology into existing industrial frameworks; and social value, considering the broader impact the technology has on society.

The selection process was a collaborative effort. An expert committee, spearheaded by CTOs and chief engineers from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and top-tier suppliers, played a key role. Additionally, audience members during the exhibition period also had a say. The overarching goal was to foster collaboration and drive technological progress within the automotive industry chain.
