At approximately 1:54 p.m. on October 5, 2025, an Avita 06 car spontaneously caught fire at the dock in Dongbi Village, Sansha Town, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. Roughly half an hour later, the flames engulfed seven nearby vehicles, encompassing brands like Audi and BMW. Many of these cars were reduced to mere frames by the inferno. A woman, believed to be the owner of the Avita car, stated that she had bought the vehicle on August 28, used it for one and a half months, and clocked a mere 1,066 kilometers on the odometer. She revealed that at 2 p.m., prior to the outbreak of the fire, the interior temperature of the car soared to a staggering 76.4℃. Subsequently, the woman deleted the relevant video, explaining that the manufacturer would take appropriate action to address the issue. All the burned vehicles belonged to tourists, and fortunately, the incident did not result in any casualties. The fire was finally brought under control and extinguished at around 3:35 p.m. At present, investigations into the cause of the accident and assessments of the losses are ongoing, and Avita has yet to issue a public statement.
