On October 5, a parking lot in Dongbi Village, Sansha Town, Ningde City, Fujian Province, became the scene of a dramatic series of fires. A green-plated electric vehicle, specifically an Avatr 06, caught fire spontaneously and subsequently set ablaze seven neighboring vehicles, which included models from Audi, BMW, Mazda, and Aion. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties in this incident. The Avatr 06 in question was a brand-new car, purchased just on August 28, and had accumulated a mere 1,066 kilometers on its odometer. According to the owner, the temperature inside the vehicle had soared to a scorching 76.4℃ before the outbreak of the fire, with the initial flames erupting from the front passenger seat area. In response to the incident, Avatr officials announced that they are collaborating closely with the fire department to conduct a thorough investigation and anticipate releasing a preliminary assessment on the same day.
