The General Office of the Ministry of Commerce has released a notice outlining the procedures for applying for export licenses for automobiles and motorcycles in 2026. The online application portal for the 2026 licenses will be officially activated on September 29, 2025. Manufacturing companies are instructed to access the enterprise section of the automobile and motorcycle export license application system, complete the application form, upload the necessary supporting documents, and then submit the entire package to their local commerce bureau for initial review.

Local commerce bureaus will then log in to the administrative section of the system to conduct a preliminary verification. After compiling the applications, they will forward them to the Ministry of Commerce. Additionally, they will have the capability to monitor the review process, check the results of public announcements, and access the list of approved companies. For companies that raise objections, local commerce bureaus are tasked with conducting a secondary review of the revised materials during the public announcement period and submitting them as required.
