The rapid development of industries such as new energy vehicles has placed higher demands on power systems, making it urgent to develop batteries that combine high energy density with excellent safety performance. Recently, the team led by Zhang Qiang from Tsinghua University has made significant progress in the research of polymer electrolytes for lithium batteries, providing new ideas and technical support for the development of solid-state lithium batteries with high safety and high energy density. The relevant findings have been published online in the journal Nature.
