On September 27, Leapmotor released a statement in response to media reports indicating that the company had become the subject of enforcement proceedings due to a business dispute. The origin of this dispute lies in a contractual disagreement between Leapmotor and Guangzhou Shouqi Automobile Service Co., Ltd. According to the statement, Leapmotor fulfilled its financial obligation by paying the full amount of RMB 3,618,100 within the stipulated deadline outlined in the mediation agreement dated June 25, 2024. As for the outstanding matter concerning the transfer of vehicle ownership, Leapmotor is currently engaged in active negotiations with Guangzhou Shouqi, aiming to reach a satisfactory and proper resolution. At present, Leapmotor's business operations remain unaffected and are proceeding as usual.
