On September 26, 2025, Xiaomi's Legal Department released an update on the progress of rights - protection efforts. Since the start of this year, the department has carried out legal assessments on 16,465 pieces of public - opinion leads. It has also been keeping a close eye on 231 online accounts. Among these, civil lawsuits have been initiated against 92 accounts that were found to be maliciously infringing upon rights. Some of these cases have already reached the trial phase, and updates on their progress will be shared in a timely manner.
In addition, in light of the fact that some Xiaomi car owners have been targeted by cyberattacks, the Legal Department has stepped in to assist in launching 35 lawsuits aimed at safeguarding the owners' rights. Moving forward, the department will remain vigilant and continue to closely monitor any similar infringement activities.
