According to Ming Pao Daily, Luobo Kuaipao, a subsidiary under Baidu, has formally applied to the Hong Kong authorities for permission to conduct autonomous vehicle testing in the Kai Tak and Kowloon Bay districts. The proposed test routes will encompass key locations, including the Youth Hostel adjacent to the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, the commercial complex AIRSIDE, and the Zero Carbon Building, which is situated opposite the MegaBox in Kowloon Bay.
