BEIJING, September 24 (Evening News) - Nissan has decided to temporarily halt the production of its Ariya electric vehicle model, which is specifically earmarked for export to the U.S. market. This move comes as a response to the recent hike in U.S. tariffs and the sluggish local demand for electric vehicles. The Ariya vehicles are manufactured at Nissan's plant in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and subsequently exported to the United States.
