On September 24, the Yangwang U9 Xtreme (henceforth referred to as the Yangwang U9X), a model from China's new energy vehicle brand Yangwang, made a remarkable breakthrough in top-speed testing. It set a new global automotive speed record by reaching a top speed of 496.22 km/h, thereby becoming the first all-electric supercar to outpace fuel-powered vehicles in terms of top speed. With a limited production run of just 30 units worldwide, the model also revealed its impressive lap time of 6 minutes and 59.157 seconds at Germany's Nürburgring Nordschleife, a testament to the strides made in China's high-performance electric vehicle technology.
