On September 20, NIO unveiled its brand-new ES8 model, which comes in three variants: the 7-seat Executive Luxury Edition, the 6-seat Executive Luxury Edition, and the 6-seat Executive Signature Edition. The starting price for purchasing the entire vehicle is set at RMB 406,800, whereas opting for the battery leasing plan begins at RMB 298,800. Li Bin, the Chairman of NIO, mentioned that the production capacity is projected to surpass 40,000 units this year. In the event that delivery demands cannot be fully satisfied, the company has pledged to subsidize the reduced portion of the purchase tax for the following year.
