West Dean New Energy has achieved a significant milestone in its international strategic development. As per the announcement made on September 11, its Thai subsidiary, WEST DEANE NEW POWER (THAILAND) CO., LTD., has successfully completed its registration process and is now officially operational.
The newly established subsidiary boasts a registered capital of 5 million Thai baht and is strategically situated in Bangkok. Its operational scope encompasses the production of electric vehicle battery products, the assembly of various components and parts, the research, development, and design of power transmission equipment, as well as the import and export of battery raw materials.
This registration signifies a major leap forward in the establishment of West Dean New Energy’s production hub in Thailand, paving the way for its business expansion across the Southeast Asian market. Earlier, on June 24, the company had approved resolutions at its board of directors and shareholders' meetings, outlining plans to invest up to 200 million yuan in constructing a base in Thailand. This move is aimed at catering to the demands of overseas customers and bolstering its competitive edge in the global market.
