On September 8, Dongfeng Motor unveiled its production and sales report for August. The figures revealed that in August, the company manufactured 163,127 vehicles, reflecting a 23.9% surge compared to the same period last year. Cumulatively, from January to August, the production volume reached 1,132,291 vehicles, albeit experiencing a 6.3% decline year-on-year. Regarding sales, Dongfeng Motor achieved a robust performance by selling 160,111 vehicles in August, up by 29% from the previous year. Overall, from January to August, the cumulative sales volume stood at 1,138,573 vehicles, showing a slight decrease of approximately 5% year-on-year.
