On September 1, after issuing an initial statement, the ARCFOX Legal Department released another one, highlighting a recent surge in organized, malicious smear campaigns across platforms like Toutiao, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin. These campaigns are predominantly directed at the ARCFOX T1, spreading false information such as "official price-cut plans," "fault analysis reports," and "delayed launch announcements." Nearly a hundred such posts are being published every day, significantly misleading the market and tarnishing the brand reputation of ARCFOX. The ARCFOX T1 is set to commence pre-sales on August 22, 2025, and has neither been launched nor publicly priced yet. Thus, claims of price cuts or quality issues are unfounded. ARCFOX asserts that these actions infringe upon its commercial reputation and may amount to unfair competition. The company has already taken measures to safeguard its rights and reaffirms its "zero tolerance" stance towards malicious smear campaigns. It urges the industry to collectively oppose the unethical practice of "using smear tactics as competition."
