WM Motor has issued a statement regarding the restructuring of the "New WM Motor." Presently, Xiangfei has assumed control over four companies within the WM Motor group and is actively working to reinstate mass production of the EX5 and E5 models at the Wenzhou production facility. New WM Motor has outlined a comprehensive business development plan spanning from 2025 to 2030. During the revival phase, from 2025 to 2026, production of the EX5 and E5 models is set to resume in September, with an initial annual production and sales target of 10,000 units, a stretch goal of 20,000 units, and the establishment of a KD (knocked-down) factory in Thailand. This move is aimed at achieving a mass production capacity of 100,000 units by 2026.
In the development phase, spanning 2027 to 2028, the company has set an annual sales target ranging from 250,000 to 400,000 units. This period will also witness the mass production of models equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems and the commencement of preparations for an initial public offering (IPO).
The leap phase, from 2029 to 2030, envisions a production target of 1 million units and revenue of 120 billion yuan by 2030, coupled with the construction of a smart mobility ecosystem. Furthermore, the company intends to introduce more than 10 new products over the next five years to cater to the demands of the global market.
