According to Reuters, BYD has reportedly scaled back its 2025 sales target by 16%, to 4.6 million units, which could indicate its slowest growth rate in five years. This adjustment may signify the end of BYD's era of unprecedented expansion. Initially, in March of this year, the company had set an ambitious sales target of 5.5 million units. Recent financial reports reveal a concerning 30% decline in quarterly profits, marking the first such drop in over three years.
