Shares of Harmony Auto (03836.HK) witnessed a remarkable surge of 12.97%. The company has announced that BYD (01211.HK) has invested approximately US$40 million to acquire roughly 10% of the shares in its subsidiary, iCarGroup. iCarGroup primarily handles the overseas sales and after-sales services for BYD's new energy vehicles, with the investment funds earmarked for general operational purposes. Following the completion of this transaction, Harmony Auto's stake in iCarGroup will diminish from 55% to 49.5%.
