On September 1, Li Xiang, the CEO of Li Auto (02015.HK), announced on a social media platform that 2025 will mark the company's official entry into the pure electric SUV market. He revealed that Li Auto's ambition is to "maintain a top-five position and strive for the top three" in the high-end electric vehicle (EV) market by the end of the year. Specifically, the company's i8 model aims to stabilize monthly sales at 6,000 units, while the i6 model targets 9,000 to 10,000 units. When combined with the Li Auto MEGA, the overall monthly sales of Li Auto's pure electric models are projected to stabilize at 18,000 to 20,000 units. Despite the intense competition, Li Xiang remains confident in achieving these goals.
