On September 1, SAIC Motor proudly announced its August 2025 performance, reporting a total vehicle production of 376,900 units, marking a robust 44.05% year-on-year increase. Sales figures for the month also shone brightly, reaching 363,400 units, representing a significant 41.04% year-on-year growth. Notably, production of new energy vehicles soared, hitting 140,500 units, a staggering 60.08% jump from the previous year, while sales of these eco-friendly vehicles stood at 129,800 units, reflecting a healthy 49.89% year-on-year increase.

Furthermore, SAIC Motor's export operations and overseas bases contributed positively to the company's performance, with production and sales growing by 13.51% and 10.48%, respectively, for the month. Looking at the broader picture, the company's cumulative total vehicle production for the year to date has reached 2,834,600 units, a commendable 22.58% year-on-year increase. Similarly, cumulative sales have amounted to 2,753,500 units, up 17.87% from the previous year.
