On August 30th, the Joint Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Dongfeng Motor Corporation officially inked a contract for the inaugural batch of six groundbreaking scientific research projects. These projects encompass diverse fields such as solid-state batteries, humanoid robots, intelligent vehicle control systems, and lightweight technology. The solid-state battery project aims to leverage semi-solid batteries as an interim step, ultimately targeting the development of fully solid-state batteries across multiple product generations. The lightweight technology project, on the other hand, concentrates on innovative techniques including integrated die-casting of car bodies, hot gas expansion molding, and the incorporation of novel materials.
