At the 2025 Chengdu International Auto Show, Li Auto showcased the latest advancements and future vision for its groundbreaking VLA Driver Large Model. Since August 20, this model has been integrated into the Li Auto i8, offering the world's first VLA large model-powered assisted driving feature. This innovative technology will achieve full-scale deployment on September 10. VLA, an acronym for Vision, Language, and Action, embodies human-like learning and reasoning capabilities, designed to elevate the driving experience to new heights. According to user feedback from the Li Auto i8, the daily utilization rate of VLA-assisted driving has surged threefold, while the usage of parking functions has increased by 2.1 times. As of August 29, Li Auto users have collectively logged 4.9 billion kilometers of assisted driving, with an MPI (Mean Proportion Interval) exceeding 220 kilometers. Furthermore, Li Auto anticipates equipping its flagship models with self-developed chips next year.
