On August 29, 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) announced its unconditional approval of a list of enterprise concentration cases, spanning from August 18 to August 24, 2025. Among these approvals was the establishment of a new joint venture between Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Motor Corporation Limited. The joint venture, set to be based in Guangzhou, will primarily focus on the export of complete vehicles, as well as their parts and accessories.
