Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Motor Corporation have announced plans to establish a joint venture in Guangzhou, with a primary focus on the export of automobiles and automotive parts. Upon completion of the transaction, Nissan China will hold a 60% stake, while Dongfeng Group will hold the remaining 40%. This collaboration aims to boost the export of Nissan electric vehicles to key markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central and South America, and beyond. The inaugural model for export will be the Dongfeng Nissan electric sedan, the N7.
