NIO has announced that from August 29 to October 12, 2025, users of both NIO and Ledao vehicles will enjoy unlimited free battery swap services along the G318 Sichuan-Tibet route. This includes stops in Ya'an, Garze, Nyingchi, Lhasa, Xigaze, and other locations, enabling users to travel directly to Mount Everest with ease. Since 2018, NIO has been diligently deploying charging facilities along this route, culminating in the completion of the full battery swap route on August 16, 2025.
