Leapmotor Initiates Local Production in Europe with a Plant in Spain, Aiming for Q3 2024 Launch

Leapmotor's European manufacturing hub will be established at the Stellantis facility in Zaragoza, Spain. Following completion of renovations, the plant will initially focus on producing models from the B-series, with operations anticipated to commence in the third quarter of next year. The rollout will begin with the compact BEV SUV, the B10, followed by the B05. As Leapmotor's inaugural global model in the B-series, the B10 was introduced in April of this year. Meanwhile, the B05 is set to make its debut at the Munich Auto Show in September, with an anticipated domestic market price of no more than 100,000 yuan and a European market price of under £30,000.
