Dongfeng Motor Group reported sales of approximately 823,900 vehicles in the first half of the year, marking a 14.7% decrease from the previous year. Despite this decline, the company's sales revenue surged 6.6% year-on-year to reach RMB 54.533 billion. Gross profit amounted to RMB 7.599 billion, representing a robust 28% increase from the same period last year, with a gross profit margin of 13.9%. This margin is a notable 2.3 percentage points higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company stood at RMB 55 million.
