On August 21, Tesla announced that it would introduce enhanced AI capabilities to its in-car voice assistant. According to the latest Tesla In-Car Voice Assistant Terms of Service available on Tesla China's official website, this voice assistant will, for the first time, leverage external large model technology in collaboration with ByteDance's Volcano Engine and DeepSeek AI. Car owners can now activate the voice assistant using physical buttons or customized wake-up phrases to interact with their vehicles via voice commands. Moving forward, this integration will facilitate seamless conversations and information retrieval. The official launch date for these new features has yet to be announced.
