Shanghai Lingang has officially unveiled its first batch of driverless intelligent connected taxis for public operation. These services encompass 58 locations throughout the main urban area of Lingang, including universities, office districts, and commercial hubs. The taxis operate daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents can conveniently book rides via the "Lingang Travel" mini-program. The fare structure is straightforward: a base fare of 16 yuan (within the first 5 kilometers), followed by an additional 4 yuan per kilometer for distances exceeding 5 kilometers, with no hidden fees.
