On August 15, the intelligent connected vehicles jointly developed by Johnson Taxi and CyberNav commenced official fee-based operations in the Lingang region of Shanghai. This milestone signifies a substantial advancement in the realm of intelligent travel services in the city, offering citizens a more convenient and efficient mode of transportation. The fare structure for these vehicles is set at 16 yuan for the initial 5 kilometers, with an additional 4 yuan charged for each subsequent kilometer, mirroring the pricing of conventional pure electric taxis. Notably, intelligent connected vehicles currently forgo any waiting fees, which benefits passengers during peak hours and periods of traffic congestion by helping them save costs.
