Hesai Technology has secured a contract for the mass production of lidar sensors from a joint venture brand of Toyota. The new energy vehicle models produced by this brand will be equipped with Hesai's ATX lidar, with full-scale production slated for 2026. In the second quarter, Hesai Technology reported revenues of RMB 710 million and a net profit of RMB 44.1 million, marking a significant 306.9% year-on-year increase in total lidar deliveries.
