Gui Shengyue, the Chief Executive Officer of Geely Automobile Holdings Limited, candidly acknowledged during the interim results conference that the company faces challenges in brand building, export sales, and average selling price (ASP) per vehicle. Regrettably, the delay in disclosing future plans undermined users' right to information, prompting the company to initiate corrective measures. In the first half of the year, the ASP per vehicle declined by RMB 14,000, primarily attributed to the surge in sales of the budget-friendly Yinhe brand and the subdued growth in the premium market segment. Looking ahead, the anticipated launch of multiple high-end models in the second half of the year is expected to elevate the ASP.
