Kui Shengyue, the Chief Executive Officer of Geely, disclosed that the proposed acquisition of Zeekr Technology is anticipated to conclude by the end of the year, contingent upon approval from both Geely's shareholder meeting scheduled for September 5 and Zeekr's shareholder meeting on September 15. Previously, Geely had publicly announced its intention to acquire all issued and outstanding shares, as well as American Depositary Shares, of Zeekr with the aim of privatizing the company.
