Officials from the US Department of Homeland Security recently announced that since 2021, there have been more than 3,000 drone-related safety incidents occurring near American airports. This year alone, eleven flights have been forced to take evasive actions to prevent collisions with drones. Out of the approximately 90,000 special events held annually in the US, a mere 0.05% have implemented drone control measures, posing significant regulatory challenges for both state governments and federal law enforcement agencies.
