According to the latest report from market research firm CounterPoint, smartphone shipments in China during the second quarter of 2025 declined by 2.4% compared to the same period last year. Despite this overall market contraction, Huawei stood out with a remarkable 17.6% year-on-year increase in smartphone shipments, capturing 18.1% of the market share. This performance has enabled Huawei to lead the market for two consecutive quarters, with Vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Apple trailing behind.
