Since the beginning of this year, consumers have enthusiastically embraced trade-in programs, leading to the replacement of over 109 million household appliances across 12 major categories. Additionally, more than 74 million digital products, including mobile phones, have been swapped out, and 9,056,000 electric bicycles have been upgraded. From January to June, retail sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment surged by 30.7%, while retail sales of communication equipment witnessed a 24.1% increase.
