Addressing user concerns about storage space, a WeChat representative confirmed that the data associated with this feature is temporary and can be cleared at any time. Additionally, it can be restored from the cloud, ensuring that it does not permanently occupy valuable storage on users' mobile devices. This feature is currently available for testing in the WeChat 8.0.60 version and is being gradually introduced to a wider audience.
