The eagerly anticipated first major upgrade for the Apple Vision Pro is slated to arrive in 2025, promising significant improvements in both performance and comfort. Despite creating a buzz upon its initial release, the Vision Pro fell short of user expectations in terms of the actual experience. While a full-fledged second-generation model is still on the horizon, an optimized version of the current iteration could hit the market sooner than anticipated. In September 2024, Apple unveiled the visionOS 2 system update, with plans to introduce visionOS 2.4 in April 2025. This update will integrate advanced AI features, such as Apple Intelligence, to elevate the user experience to new heights. Concurrently, the second-generation Apple Vision Pro has entered the rigorous product validation testing phase, with a targeted release date set for late 2025 or early 2026.
