Apple intends to introduce the second iteration of its budget-friendly e-series iPhone, the iPhone 17e, in the spring of 2026. This upcoming model will continue to feature an OLED display panel akin to the one found in the iPhone 14, which was collaboratively developed by BOE and Samsung Display. LG Display may also join the supplier list. Industry insiders estimate that the initial shipment volume of the iPhone 17e will be capped at approximately 20 million units, mirroring the strategy employed for previous SE series models, to ensure it does not cannibalize sales of higher-end products. It is anticipated that the e-series will adhere to an annual refresh cycle.
