Dubai, in partnership with a leading US company, has successfully concluded the maiden test flight of its innovative air taxi service, setting the stage for the launch of commercial operations in 2026. The air taxi, designed to carry four passengers along with a pilot, boasts a top speed of 320 km/h. The inaugural operating hub will be strategically positioned adjacent to Dubai International Airport, significantly cutting down the journey time from the airport to Palm Jumeirah Island to a mere 12 minutes.
