Display industry expert Ross Young has disclosed that the iPhone 18 Pro will not integrate full under-display Face ID technology, contradicting earlier reports by The Information. Those reports had suggested that the iPhone 18 Pro would adopt a minimalist single punch-hole display, positioning the front camera in the top-left corner of the screen. However, according to Ross Young, Apple will only partially relocate Face ID components beneath the display, resulting in a more compact Dynamic Island, albeit not progressing to a single punch-hole design.
