Chengdu has recently announced a 14-point policy initiative aimed at bolstering low-altitude flight capabilities and nurturing the low-altitude economy market. The cornerstone of this policy is to foster the commercialization of low-altitude manned flights by supporting enterprises in obtaining approvals for manned air routes and offering a one-time annual subsidy of up to 5 million yuan to successful ventures. Furthermore, passengers will benefit from route-distance-based ticket price subsidies, making the experience more affordable. The policy also encompasses a wide range of aspects, including the development of low-altitude takeoff and landing infrastructure, the enhancement of information infrastructure, the strengthening of flight service supervision, the expansion of low-altitude application scenarios, and industrial support.
