During the computer sub-forum of the Huawei Developer Conference 2025, Huawei made its official debut in addressing the topic of sideloading on Hongmeng computers. Zhu Dongdong, President of the Huawei Device BG Tablet and PC Product Line, confirmed that Hongmeng computers will indeed support sideloading and disclosed plans to progressively roll out this feature.
