The Russian Defense Ministry has officially confirmed that on June 1, Ukraine employed FPV drones to target airports in various Russian regions, including Murmansk Oblast, Irkutsk Oblast, Ivanovo Oblast, Ryazan Oblast, and Amur Oblast. This resulted in the ignition of aviation equipment at airports in Murmansk Oblast and Irkutsk Oblast, although the fires have since been extinguished. Notably, the military airports in Ivanovo Oblast, Ryazan Oblast, and Amur Oblast were able to successfully fend off the attacks. No casualties have been reported, and several individuals involved in the operation have been apprehended.
