An enterprise based in the Yantai Huangbohai New Area has triumphantly accomplished the inaugural flight of its independently developed TP1000 large unmanned transport aircraft. Boasting a take-off weight of 3.3 tons and a payload capacity of 1,000 kilograms, this aircraft can traverse a full-load range of 1,000 kilometers, effectively complementing the TP500 to fulfill a variety of low-altitude cargo transportation requirements. Developed in strict adherence to China's civil aviation airworthiness standards, the TP1000's maiden flight lasted 26 minutes, showcasing its stable flight characteristics and impressive performance parameters. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with intelligent airdrop capabilities, rendering it ideal for emergency rescue and disaster relief missions. It is anticipated that the TP1000 will secure China's civil aviation type certification for large cargo drones by 2026.
