Microsoft's built-in Paint tool in Windows 11 has recently been found to contain a serious security flaw. Under certain conditions, an attacker can simply send a specially crafted network packet to an affected device to remotely execute malicious code—without the user's knowledge and without any need to click a file or link. Although Microsoft has released a patch, some users still cannot obtain the update even with automatic updates enabled in the Microsoft Store.
